El CEO de Square (NYSE:), Jack Dorsey, ha declarado que la empresa está creando una nueva división que se centrará en la creación de servicios de finanzas descentralizadas que utilicen .

Dorsey hizo el anuncio a través de Twitter el día de hoy, y reveló que la nueva división de Square desarrollará una «plataforma abierta para desarrolladores con el único objetivo de facilitar la creación de servicios financieros no custodiados, sin permisos y descentralizados. Nuestro principal objetivo es Bitcoin».
